1. All new builds must comply with a new water efficiency standard of 125* litres per head per day.
2. Baths in new homes to be fitted with a protective thermostatic device, to ensure that the temperature does not exceed 48°C.
*125 litres per person per day includes 5 litres for outside use.
A clever two step cartridge that offers ‘full flow’ and ‘reduced flow’ settings, reducing water consumption by 80% when used in reduced flow compared to a standard tap cartridge. Available in three mono basin mixers and one mono sink mixer.

THE CODE FOR SUSTAINABLE HOMES...
The Code for Sustainable Homes is a set of standards for the design and construction of properties, designed to encourage long term sustainability. All new homes are assessed under the Code and carry a rating, to indicate to potential buyers the sustainability rating of the home, and indicate those homes that will have reduced running costs through water and energy efficiency.
Points are awarded dependent upon the level of compliance, and contribute to an overall score per property.
